BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Valley Vision Board of Directors is comprised entirely of unpaid volunteers. Selectmen of each town in our viewing area may choose one individual ("town Rep") to represent their town on our board.

Several other board members serve as members at large, bringing a wide variety of technical, creative, financial and public service backgrounds to the organization. Members at large may serve a maximum of two three year terms. Prospective members may nominate themselves for election by the existing board.

The board meets at 1:00pm on the second TUESDAY of each month at Valley Vision Studios in North Conway. Meetings are open to the public. Please call for more information. (356-8941).

President: Karla Ficker, Fryeburg

Conway Representative: Mike DiGregorio, Conway

Fryeburg Representative: Erin Bott, Fryeburg

Albany Selectmen's Rep: Diana Stevenson, Albany
Diana is a relic from the early days of the mid nineties at Valley Vision having been recruited to the Board in by the then School Superintendent to represent the school interests at the Station. She can and does grind on about the “old days” at Valley Vision in the fashion of the Monty Python Yorkshiremen (e.g. “All we had then was a closet for a studio and two SVHS cameras...luxury!).
She produced the Pine Tree School piece of “Primary News” for five years with the 6th graders as crew and talent . She coordinated the children’s video workshops for the MWV Family Film Festival teaching the claymation portion of the program. She also taught video workshops for the After School Program.
After a sabbatical of a few years from Valley Vision, she was recruited in 2008 as the town of Albany representative to the Board of Directors.

Other Members:
Bob Bernhardt, North Conway

CONWAY PROGRAMMING
Most of the programming airing on channel 3 comes under the banner of "CCTV", which stands for Conway Community Television. The content of CCTV is made up of programming for, by, and about the town of Conway.

Current examples of CCTV programming include The Conway Board of Selectmen meetings, as well as those of the Conway Planning Board, North Conway Water Precinct, and Conway Municipal Budget Committee.

Non-municipal programs include Conway Update, Kennett sports, Conway-area school programming such as concerts and plays, Pawprints, Valley Christian Church, The Honor of Our People, and, of course, Recreation Weekly.

CCTV also broadcasts programming produced by residents of the Conways. Recent programs produced by local residents include "The Neighborhood" (by valley favorite Albert Hill), "Holiday On Ice", and The Conway Elementary & Pine Tree School Chorus concert.

Valley Vision stores several cameras for Conway residents to use at their will. The only requirements for taking out such equipment are that you undergo brief training and familiarization with the cameras with our Station Manager, Bill Edmunds, and that all videotaping you do is to air on channel 3 under the CCTV banner.

FRYEBURG PROGRAMMING
Valley Vision also produces programming for the town of Fryeburg. While this is on a more limited basis than for the Town of Conway, Fryeburg still sees significant air time on channel 3. Examples of Fryeburg-related programming include Fryeburg Academy sporting events, graduations, and concerts. Further, we also air the Fryeburg 4th of July parade, town meeting, and selectmen's meetings.
